In October members of the Darra community attended the 14th annual BTP Westlink Green Darra Street Party.
Attendees enjoyed rides, food and entertainment, including a jumping castle, face painting and carousel for the kids. There were also plenty of goodies available for purchase with food vendors and market stalls lining the street.
Government representatives Cr Milton Dick and Cr Matthew Bourke accompanied Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on the day, formally opening the event alongside Graystone representative and Development Manager, Lisa Timoney.
“The Darra Street Party is an annual event that is going from strength to strength. There was plenty to do for local families and the community spirit was palpable. Graystone BTP was proud to be a major sponsor of an event that fosters such a strong sense of community,” Ms. Timoney said.
