If you have had the chance to recently visit Brisbane Technology Park’s new Innovation Precinct, opposite the Conference Centre, you will no doubt have noticed some interesting construction work occurring. Graystone is delighted to announce the refurbishment of 35 Miles Platting Road.
The development is live and active and as Development Manager of the project, I am thrilled to be working on one of BTP’s iconic buildings. While tenants will be excited about the building’s exposure to Miles Platting Road, as a developer and place maker, I am more excited about activating the prime corner with another buzzing eatery we can gather in. In choosing our next foodie, we have been sure to select a cuisine that is healthy and affordable enough to eat every day. Watch this space for who’s coming, but we are really excited by this new offering.
Our focus on providing more retail amenity is responsive to the noticeable shift we are experiencing in the way we all like to do business at BTP. We recognise that having some great “foodie nooks” to gather in, as we chat over a bite to eat, is important. Black Ink Espresso, with its relaxed café vibe, has been very well received for this reason. Many of the tenants I chat to, tell me it’s wonderful to have a new, relaxing and bright environment where they can develop a rapport with their peers, before getting into business and chatting commercial terms.
For me personally, I am thoroughly enjoying meeting new and existing tenants within the Park to get to know everyone’s business aspirations and ideas to improve our business community. So if you see me sitting at the coffee shop, don’t be a stranger and feel free to introduce yourself! You can also call me on 07 3368 9099 to book in a coffee and chat about our next leasing project!
